Eating right is a good idea for everyone. But changing your eating habits can be a daunting task. That's why people often look for help from me. To see more about my credentials, click here.
Our first visit is usually 90 minutes. We will review your medical history, your current usual diet, your health concerns, and your short and long term goals. Then we will discuss strategies to help you achieve those goals. You will receive handouts and guidelines for use at home.
My clients have described me as enthusiastic, intuitive, and empathetic. I can help you sort through the confusing world of nutrition information (and misinformation) and focus on positive approaches to food and movement. This emphasis on “to-do” behaviors eliminates deprivation, encourages problem-solving and self-management, and supports your long-term success.
That depends on you. Some people find they can get what they need from one visit while others require follow-up visits. These can be 30-60 minutes and provide ongoing strategies and accountability.

I am located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I also work with people by telephone if you live out of the area or it is more convenient for you due to scheduling constraints.
My clients pay me directly at the time of our visit in person (by cash, check, or money order) or in advance for telephone consults. I do not bill insurance companies directly. I can give you a superbill if you wish to attempt to get reimbursement from your insurance company. Reimbursement varies depending on your policy. Some of my clients have received reimbursement at their out-of-network rate.
